Well we have a theme this week, that theme is summer. I really do not like themes, because they can limit my sense of play. I am off kilter when it comes to life, and especially music.
That being said, summer for me is one of those times of year you hunger for all through out winter, when it is cold. Then when it arrives you want it over with.
My first piece is called Summer, it is from the Four Seasons' by Vivaldi and it is very expressive, to say the least.

Although the game begins in what, February, it is something we all attend in the summer. I am of course talking about Tennis... Not. Baseball. So go Rockies, er Cardinals, anyone but the Cubs.

I am old enough to have heard this song every summer into the 1980's. It is a classic and for a lot of people including my brother Geoff, hi Geoff. He did this, and as far as I know still does. So wax your boards and let's go Surfin USA.
