I remember when I would never go out of my way to see an Adam Sandler movie. However over the past several years he has become an amazing producer and writer. His acting has improved tremendously too and his latest film "Blended" proves this.
You have two people who are raising their children as single parents, Sandler because his wife died of cancer and Barrymore who is a divorced mother whose ex husband may have visitation rights but has no real interest in his kids.
After meeting on a blind date that ends in disaster the couple comes together on a trip to Africa. Sandlers' Boss and Barrymores' partner were to have gone on the trip and canceled out, so Sandler and Barrymore manage to get the tickets and go, not realizing that they will have to share a room.
While in Africa Barrymore and Sandler begin to see how much they like each other and how much they care for each others' kids.
The movie has some wonderful fun moments and keeps you rooting that these two will become a couple.
