This is a tribute to a gentleman who just recently celebrated his 90th Birthday. Tony Bennett set the standard for balladeers and even rock singers for several generations now.

Great selections. It was nice to watch his 90th tribute show and see him sing. He is among the greats.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, a great Post. Love the song choices you picked too. It brings back wonderful memories of my Mom or my grandmother watching his performances on different shows. They never missed one of his performances that's for sure. He's a icon in the music industry & still going strong. Unbelievable and yet he still hasn't lost his ability to perform & sing and singing duets with today's greats was a fantastic idea. I think his best was with Amy Winehouse & of course Lady Gaga. Unbelievable. Thank you for joining us and for your tribute to one of America's great singers & performers.
