Another great book on a far away land, of Kenya

Another great book in Carole Romans' series is "If you were me and lived in... Kenya.

This time we go to a land in Southeast Africa that rarely do we hear about in the west, that is unless there is a war or other crisis in this country.

The book opens one to the unique culture that is part English in its' customs and currency and uniquely Kenyan based on the Massai  culture.  Examples of this mixed culture are in that you may play Cricket, an English sport, and may eat Samosa, a small triangular pastry filled with either meat or vegetables.

The book makes you want to learn more and even sit down and have a cup of Chai with someone from this land known as Kenya.

The book is well paced and again opens one to a unique place that many of us may never have the privilege of visiting, however when we meet someone from Kenya, we will have a better understanding of this land and its' people.

I give this book 4 stars.
