Day 4 A 31 DAY CHALLENGE. Exceptional Customer Service

We are always told how companies have exceptional customer service, and yet in reality this is the exception and not the rule.  Many companies will hire people for customer service, and they will be sales reps, to upsell products and services first, and resolve issues on a secondary level.

However today, I experienced truly exceptional customer service when my wife and I stopped off at the Burger King restaurant on Chambers Rd and Hampden Avenue here in Aurora.

We went in after a failed appointment with a local medical facility that had canceled my wife's appointment, because she was a few minutes late.

I had ordered two Chicken sandwiches with Onions, Tomatoes and Mayo with Onion Rings and medium soft drinks.

Well the manager provided the sandwiches the soda but only had one order of onion rings ready.  He promised to bring out the other onion rings when they were ready.  Well I had started on my sandwich and my wife suggested I wait to get the other order of onion rings.

I went back, and not only got the onion rings shortly there after, but also because I had to wait two Hershey cakes at no cost.

The manager did not have to do this, but he did and by showing this exceptional customer service has earned loyal customers.

If all companies would do this, there would be more customer loyalty, and more satisfaction.  Instead most companies outsource customer service to people in other countries, or as I said use customer service people to be sales people and do not encourage the quality of service that people expect or deserve.

So if you end up in Aurora, Colorado and are looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, then stop off at the Burger King on Chambers Road and Hampden Avenue, you will find yourself surprised and impressed.
